In case of problems running under Windows XP, please reduce // the level of the audio hardware acceleration //:

   - Click on Start then Run or press simultaneously keys Windows and **R** on your keyboard
   - Enter the program name below: **  DXDIAG**
   - Click on the tab
   - Lower the acceleration <Full acceleration> ** ** ** to ** <Basic acceleration>
   - Exit and restart your game
